Effectively Use Your eBook and Its Resell Rights as Free Bonuses

by Stu McLaren

Eboks can be used for much more then just a single product by itself. Have you ever thought about giving it away as a free bonus when someone purchases another one of your products or services? What about as a bonus to accompany an affiliate product.

When you use bonuses it can act as a major incentive for people to purchase certain products or services. Loading on bonuses will only increase this incentive as market research has proven. Some people, in fact, just buy a particular product just for the bonuses that are included.

By creating an eBook, you are not only creating another product but a valuable bonus that you can now include in a variety of packages. When building your packages you should always be asking yourself how you can add value to that package. Adding an eBook is one step in the right direction because that eBook has established value attached to it, so by adding it as a bonus, your package just increases in its perceived value.

That value that you add to you package will also help you create the price point. When I am creating a product I look at how much I could sell each individual item to get the price point.

Let me give a quick reasoning for that because there’s so many times I go on a website and I’ll see somebody offering a product, and they’ve got all these bonuses, then they just slap a value on there like $297 for this particular bonus.

I’m sitting there thinking, “I would never pay $297 just for that bonus.” That’s the way I want you to think. I want you to think: How much would I pay just for this bonus by itself, nothing else? Because whatever that value is, that is the true value of that bonus. Not by what you slap a value on there on a website. That doesn’t establish value.

You have to be realistic when you are thinking about how much you would pay and make sure it correlates to what the market would pay as well. If you don’t do this when people come to your website and and look to buy your package they will discount the actual value of that bonus, resulting in it losing tremendous value.

When you create an eBook you can still include it with your other products and services as a valuable bonus.

Including the resell rights to your eBook as a bonus will take it one step further and more valuable to your costumers.

I’ll use my own business as another example, only because I know my business so well. Creativity is what I talk a lot on, so I would be interested in possibly purchasing the reprint or resell rights of someone else’s products on creativity.

Take a moment to think about that. Why would I want to know what I would be interested in purchasing? It will actually save me a lot of time. If someone has made great content on the topic that I talk about, why would I want to reinvent the wheel? We could make it a win-win situation for both of us by partnering up and building a relationship.

This way they were able to get their material leveraged and I was able to get new material so I didn’t have to spend my own time doing just that. You can use this same principle to yourself and your business.

As you develop eBooks, there will be other business in you niche that would be really interested in the material you are creating. This way they now have something of interest to send out to their customer list or specific clients.

You have now provided yourself with a platform to be able to sell or offer the reprint or resell rights of your eBook as a bonus. Those people who are now interested in your eBook can provide or sell it to their customers and feel as if they are providing valuable information.

By doing this your value of your bonus has just continued to increase.

By following these steps you now have the ability to greatly increase the value of a bonus for your own products or even while doing an affiliate promotion.

By exploring your creativity ideas will come to you when you need them the most!
