Make World of Warcraft Gold in TBC

by James Barnett

I hit level 70 and buying my flying mount, I want to spend more time in the Outlands and TBC and learn where the best drops and best farming spots are.

If you are new to the Outland, I can let you in on a secret… it is the place to gather some of the most awesome drops in Warcraft, motes are great and if you farm the right spots, you can easily pick up a couple primals an hour which sell for nice amounts of gold.

A great spot to grind is in Hellfire on the eastern edge where the Voidwalkers spawn. These Voidwalkers drop silver, green items and very often, motes of shadow which can be turned into Primal Shadows.

Nagrand is another great place to grind, me being a skinner, I enjoy farming for Thick Clefthoof Leather which high level leather workers buy for a large price. At level 70, the Clefthoof are easy prey.

Nagrand also offers a lot of mote drops if you aren’t a skinner, around the Oshu’Gun you can farm motes of shadow from Voidspawns and south from there on the edge are Rumblers that drop motes of earth.

I believe Netherstorm to be the best place in the game to pick up Netherweave Cloth, the name pretty much says it all, and the amount of humanoids that are in the area is utterly crazy. You’ll also get a lot of other great drops from slaughtering the humanoids in Netherstorm such as Sunfury Signets, which fetch a nice amount on the AH.

Terokkar Forrest is a awesome place for farming, especially if you aren’t level 70, even if you are already level 70, you can still pick up a lot of great drops in this area such as Arakkoa Feathers that the Talonite bird-guys drop, these sell good on the AH.

Touching base on Terokkar Forrest, you can farm for Netherweb Silk, these mean machines go for a quick 10G EACH, in a 2 hour run you can snatch up about 2-3 stacks depending on how good you are. I am a Hunter and I like to take on about 3 spiders at one time, using Bestial Wrath to beef up my pet and slaughter these spiders for fast drops, that is easy gold my friends!
